Having your garden does not mean every time you are enjoying it. When you are outside and sitting in your plot, trying to relax and it starts to get dusk, then sunsets and you are in total darkness, you will then go inside the house. You will not stay in your spot even though you are enjoying your stay. Garden spot lights can make you stay in your refreshing green spot without being in total darkness.
Garden spot lights are easy to install and it is very alluring during night time. Either you light your plot with flame or use electric lightings with mains or low voltage.
Generally, the mains lighting is used when lighting a very large area or for flood lighting used and must be installed if possible by an electrician who is qualified to do the job. There are numerous varieties of main lights that you can choose from; most are for spot lightings because it uses a lot of energy. Have the best and expensive lightings to really enjoy your stay in your green home spot. Try not to buy those cheap garden spot lights that are easily broken.
There are different kinds of spot lights such as solar lightings which have an L.E.D. that is amber and it is small and illuminates dimly because of opposing lamp. It is very expensive maybe because of the solar panel costs but it’s free to run. Others do not choose this kind of lights but some preferred it. Another kind is low voltage which is easy to install, cheap to run, and the cost varies according to the lights’ quantity and quality. Next are spherical lights which are good for illuminating rounds. Spot lights are very good for lighting such as tress or statue or nice plants; in all specific area.
Choose your desired style and color that can give dramatic effect like blue or green for illuminating plants and foliage; red or orange for water features and many others for your spot lightings and be sure to have a suitable cable and transformer to operate them. You should position them in the soil or in a high tree and just point them down. If you are going to install the lights yourself, follow the instructions and be very careful when installing. If not, you should ask a qualified electrician to do the job.
